Perfect fit and easy to install on my Samsung RF266 refrigerator; it took under five minutes to pull the old seal and install the new seal. Clean the groove with some isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel, align the tabs on correct side of the door, insert the seal into the groove on one of the top corners, and press the seal into the groove with your thumbs to seat it, work your way around the perimeter until the seal is fully seated, and then run your thumbs the seals in both directions, clockwise first and anticlockwise next, to ensure a good fit, and you are done. Easy.Packing and shipping: this is how to ship a refrigerator seal (photo#1). The seal came shipped, intact and unfolded, in a study cardboard carton that protected and maintained the seal in perfect condition.Photos#2-5 show the old, nasty seal (close to ten years old); photos 6 and 7 show the shiny, new seal. A vast improvement and the new seal is soft and pliable; I anticipate a much better seal than with the old one. The existing left seal seems to still be in good condition but we'll keep an eye on it. Highly recommended. This replacement gasket fits perfectly. I first ordered one for the wrong door, the freezer, but then ordered this one. It was shipped flat, so it had no bends or defects in the gasket. Installation was super easy. No directions were included, but there a many videos online to help. It took 5 minutes. It was priced high, but still way cheaper than calling a repair person. I'm very happy with this purchase. This review is being written 3/15/2016 for the Samsung DA63-06542A Refrigerator Door Gasket by Samsung, advertised and sold on the Amazon web site. This is the OEM gasket that fits on either the left or right side of some Samsung French door refrigerators.Installation on the right side door is fairly simple. Pull the existing gasket out and press-fit the new one into the groove. For the left side, removal of the movable flapper/hinge is necessary. This is accomplished by:- Pry the two screw cover caps off of the middle hinge using a small flat-blade screwdriver- Using a high quality PH0 Phillips precision screwdriver, remove the two screws. A larger shaft screwdriver won't have enough clearance, and a low-quality dollar-shop style precision screwdriver might not allow enough torque.- Slide the whole assembly up to disengage the lower and upper hinge points- Gently pull out slightly to reveal the electrical plug connector behind the middle hinge and squeeze to disconnect- Remove the old gasket and install the new one as for the right hand side door- Install the flapper/hinge assemblyThe design has somewhat of a weak point in that if one opens the left hand side door first, some stress is applied by the flapper hinge on the leading edge of the right hand door gasket. This tends to make that thin part of the gasket crack over time.Fit perfectly and was very easy to press fit into the refrigerator door. Was a little more expensive than I wanted a gasket to cost but in the end it was much cheaper than a new door or refrigerator. This was so easy to install and fit like a glove. No need for a repairman. We replaced very old, original Samsung refrigerator gaskets. The gaskets we purchase through Amazon were just the right fitand very easy to install.I bought this because there was a rip on fridge door gasket. This appears to be an original Samsung part. It came in a huge box that was mostly empty air. If you have ever replaced the kind of door weatherstrip that inserts into a kerf in the frame, this gasket attaches in the same way. Grab a corner of the gasket and pull until it until it releases from the kerf. If you have trouble pulling it out, you could use a pair of pliers to grab the old gasket. Work your way around the door pulling on the gasket. To insert the new gasket, start on one of the upper corners and give it a firm push. Work it in down and around the door.Excellent Replacement for Samsung French/3 Door Refrigerators. These gaskets fit most Samsung French Door refrigerators. I purchased 2 and removed and replaced the OEM gasket on each door which were not in good shape. The installation was very easy and fast. No tools needed. The old ones simply pull out, and the new ones get pushed into the door track. It took about 10 minutes to remove the old ones and install two new ones. These are actual Samsung Brand replacement parts, and are priced MUCH lower at Amazon than at other on-line suppliers. These fit more Samsung refrigerators than the model numbers shown on the Amazon description. Get the part number for your exact model, and cross reference it with this part number. Chances are, this will fit most Samsung 3 door/French door models. The same gasket fits both left and right refrigerator doors.
